male, 40 years old, Macclesfield I'm one of the founders of Konkura. My name comes from the fact I used to be the oldest rower in my crew, so I got called Dinosaur. I look forward to competing with you all on Konkura! Ex-university rower, so the rowing machine is my natural habitat. Besides Jurassic Park, obviously

  • Completed the Manchester Marathon in horrendous conditions and in 3:51 yesterday. Note bad for 4 weeks training. Well done to everyone else who put up with the terrible weather and took part. Status: my legs hurt... (30/04/2012 08:32 AM)
  • Just completed first (and last!) big run ahead of next week's Manchester Marathon. Despite torrential rain, a hold up due to a horse throwing it's rider, just 3 weeks of training and being 15 stone and nearly 38, managed 18miles in 2hrs 36 - so in theory on for about 3:45, maybe a little faster allowing for adrenalin. Pretty happy with that. Now watch it all go tits up... (22/04/2012 04:04 PM)
