  • profile pic Apology accepted Momona :) by GedMustoNumber1 on 4/19/2012 8:35:00 AM

  • profile pic I apologize as I didn't understand the way challenges work here. I still don't see how a "challenge" could possibly exist in the past. That's my 2 cents. I made a mistake Ged and was harsh on you - I apologize. by momona on 4/19/2012 4:23:00 AM

  • profile pic Sorry momona you were out of place here. The challenge clearly implies "ever" and without it specifying it be current, we should be free to post any time we have ever run. There are many challenges that fall into this category and other that do not. If the person who creates the challenge feels they were not clear when they see his post (very honest about the time frame) and changes it to mandate a "within the last year" or something like that then I am sure Ged would change it. by AndyWeaver on 4/18/2012 11:03:00 PM

  • profile pic I'm done as well but I think it's you who is jealous of me :) by momona on 4/18/2012 11:05:00 AM

  • profile pic I'm not getting involved in this obviously jealousy sniping...my achievements has been recognised by the highest governing bodies and authorities in the industry, and most importantly I am seen as one of the top stamina and endurance exponents in the world..Individuals like yourself can gain a wealth of knowledge from individuals like myself, you've now doubted my 5k recent time, you are unbelieveable, pure jealousy again and it's there to see in your posting, just because you quite simply haven't got the build to run, you can powerlift and powerlift well I may add. I still run and I was more than right to class your posting as 'uncalled' for, how dare you bring my professional standing into question, all I haver had is accolades from Bear, Worthster, Pikey, PhilFit,Sbaguru, Sylvatica, Jen and many others who have all checked my credibilty!!...and it's not everyday you have a world class athlete on your doorstep....I have retained my higher than normal peoples fitness through 30 years of sheer hard work and dedication, once again I put up 'recent' videos to show my standard of fitness!!!...I have nothing to prove on my site, my past achievements has already cemented that! This is my last posting on this page, my time is staying up whether you like you like it or not, simply because I achieved it!!!... by GedMustoNumber1 on 4/18/2012 7:22:00 AM

  • profile pic Yes, Ged I can see your point on this challenge. May I ask if you clicked on the blue "Challenge Help" button near the top right side of the page for clarification of all challenge's basic rules? by momona on 4/18/2012 2:10:00 AM

  • profile pic Fair enough Ged, I never intended to insult you - that isn't my intention. But you are clearly unfair to say that it's "uncalled" for. It's a matter of credibility for those who run after joining this community. As a former national 4A swimmer when I was 17 I understand that what I used to be able to swim 30 years ago has no bearing on what I can even come close to doing today. I'll keep all my posts and entry's relevant to what I can do today. Do what you like Sir, but I would certainly respect seeing your current achievements (Although that 17 minute 5k would be sweet to see) regardless of score, time, reps or weight. Anyone else care to chime in? by momona on 4/18/2012 1:25:00 AM

  • profile pic This is the first posting that someone has had a particular dig at me which in this case is totally uncalled for...I do somehow agree Momona but the challenge clearly states what is your fastest half marathon, and mine was just under 1hr 06mins, is it my fault that I have put up a totally legitimate time even if mine was achieved nearly 24 years back, so whats the problem, rules are rules and I never cheat, I always put up either a video or picture to back up certain challenges, I am not a sore loser but if I was a non competitor of this site then I would understand....I respect everyone that has run the 13.1 mile distance but you have to remember I am now a constant member of this site, am setting benchmark figures for others to follow, and most importantly on this particular challenge I have been a former athlete and can still run a 5km in around 17 minutes and that for the age of 48 is damn bloody good...I don't run down others for what they have done in the past, I respect what you have done on the challenges and will continue to do so...have a look at what I have achieved over my 30 years in the industry, trust me I could write a book on my achievements...You just seem to complain over the small things on this site, just keep up the good work with doing your challenges, this is meant to be a challenge site and I have abided by the rules of the challenge, enough said... by GedMustoNumber1 on 4/17/2012 9:59:00 PM

  • profile pic Can we keep these challenges current. Running a great 1/2 marathon nearly 15 years ago has no business IMO of being posted here. Respect those who wish to compete today by running, and posting within couple days, or at most a week. Fair? by momona on 4/17/2012 9:00:00 PM
