The 24' Incline Tricep Dips..

This is a hideous Tricep Dips challenge with a difference, the focus is mostly on the bench or chair which must be 24' or two feet off the floor..The body can be upright or slightly tilted but the technique is still very much the same, palms must be slightly wider than shoulder width level apart, the legs must be bent so that when you bring the knees up you cannot see your feet on the other side..The winner is the person who can perform the highest number possible but be warned, minimal pause is...   more details

Marien, I was going to reset your score back to "0" because of your palm placement, the palms should be placed forwards towards the bench and not at the side as the side movement makes it easier on the wrists and shoulders.. by GedMustoNumber1 on 5/20/2013 7:34:09 PM

Another great effort. Glad to see you back on top of this event. Now you just have to go work on your tan, it's nearly June. Haha, I live by the beach in Southern California and get to run shirtless year round. by AndyWeaver on 5/30/2012 12:11:00 AM

  • profile pic Thanks Jen, the friendly competition is awesome. Pushes us both to do our absolute best. I believe Worthster is injured as he posted he will be back soon. He has also been a great rival in the past and expect him to join the pain party. Ged came to the site with the most incredible resume and quickly proved he still has "it". The way it's going YouTube is going to need a fast forward button as the videos are getting so long :) by AndyWeaver on 5/26/2012 2:59:00 PM

  • profile pic Thank you Jen, our challenges have now become as some may say the stuff of legends....toe to toe literally speaking...I have nothing but total admiration ofr all who take part on this challenge site, but Andy is one true gent and one extremely tough competitor, trust me Jen other great athletes on here have left me and Andy purely alone, as we have proven long distance challenge experience at the highest levels...By the way Jen you are all inspiring as well, I salute you back and keep up the great work :) x by GedMustoNumber1 on 5/25/2012 3:07:00 PM

  • profile pic Ged & Andy; your personal dual on here is fascinating and very impressive. I'm watching it unfold with disbelief at the scores and videos being posted. You are pushing it to the limit and beyond. I salute you guys :) by JenMitchell on 5/25/2012 6:23:00 AM

You have great posture watching your video, I slouch and therefore have less range of motion, I will work at it. by AndyWeaver on 5/21/2012 3:07:50 PM

  • profile pic Thanks Ged, I know this is my weakest form exercise and will experiment to get better. I think I need to straighten leg a bit and also keep back straighter. My butt was brushing the floor so,e reps so better posture should give me the full range of motion. If I do them right even at lower reps I will adjust my score and post that number. by AndyWeaver on 5/21/2012 3:02:00 PM

  • profile pic You sure have motivated me Andy, great effort my friend...sure works the triceps brachii, your arm needs to come down a tad more then to near full lock at the top but couldn't fault anything else...looks as though I have to go back to the drawing board ;) I wouldnt be able to double this at all, 120 is the maximum number for this, lactic acid will ensure this doesn't get beaten no matter how fit you are...well done again Andy...champion for now :) by GedMustoNumber1 on 5/21/2012 7:50:00 AM

Excellent attempt Phil, as you have probably noticed it looks easy but the lactic acid kicks in much quicker than the other tricep dip variants...i'm going to do a 2nd video to get a better score and try and ensure better form...Well Done again buddy by GedMustoNumber1 on 4/25/2012 7:19:34 AM
