About this challenge

What does this challenge involve?

- get on a Concept II rowing machine

- Make sure the display is set to "just row" and showing metres not calories or watts

- Set the fan to 10 to maximise power

- Make sure the fan inside the rowing machine is completely stationary,


- Stop rowing and wait for the display to stop counting up - your score is however many metres you've managed to "travel"

Note: doing any explosive exercise like this carries a serious risk of injury - make sure you're properly warmed up, that the rowing machine is in good condition, and don't overdo it. Your back may not recover!

  • I'm 6'2" Angelo. Yeah - I let it run until it stopped. That seems to be within the rules. Will have another go soon, as there's a lot of people getting close to me.

  • upon reinvestigation.....Jon is staying in the basic row position.......i think the key may be to just let the drive almost spin out before u do ur next rep.....i was waiting but i prolly coulda waited a lil longer between strokes......im gonna try again tomorrow
