I can't imagine 600 lbs deadlift on New Years Eve but the 6 plates on each side of an Olympic bar could be legit. Plates (as well as O bars) come in all kinds of widths especially if using bumper plates.

Can we sort this out Arron, as creator of the challenge - do people need to post scores in pounds or kgs? People have got to compare like with like! Arron, I'd suggest you edit the challenge and put (in lbs) or (in kgs) in the title so everyone knows what's going on, then reset the current scores...

James ur a body builder.....have u ever seen a bar that only holds 6 plates on each side........you average olympic bar holds what 10 or so? seems a lil fishy to me but maybe theres a bar i havent seen.

yeah i got a 600lb lift about a month ago, i had to ducktape two 7.5lbs dumbbells to the bar cause it only heald 12 45lb plates and i wanted 600!
