The Superstars was a television sports competition that was very popular in the 1970's and still continues to this day. The Superstars format is one of taking athletes from various disciplines and having them compete at a number of challenges.





The challenges for 'Superstars: 5 of the best' are as follows:-

Event 1:Swimming,50 metres(any stroke)

Event 2: Running, 100 metres

Event 3: Gym test, 1 minute squat thrusts / 1 minute dips)

Event 4: Rowing, 1000 metres

Event 5: Bike, 1000 metres

The aim of the challenge is to find the Superstar who can complete the events in the fastest time, or in the case of the gym test complete the most reps.
