  • profile pic i see what ur saying but no, its not correct....the measurement is toes to heels....everyone starts with their toes on the line...you jump as far as u can and mark ur heels, if i did it your way id def be in second place, maybe even first.

  • profile pic I measured toe to toe (if you see what I mean), so should still be ok.

About this challenge

Challenge created by:Bear
Profile pic: Bear

Challenge for: both male and female
Ability level: suitable for all competitors
Age range: any age
Must use a tape measure and a second person is needed to film and measure. Lay tape measure on ground to the side of you extended as far as you need it to be. put a piece of tape at 0". Jump as far as you can....BUT, after you land, you can't move. This is where the 2nd person comes in and marks the spot against the tape measure.

Take your measurement in inches and divide it by your height in inches.

Example: 84" jump by a 65" person = 1.29
84" jump by a 76" person = 1.11

again, making it a fair playing field.

  • Nice jump Jon......you gotta put the card at you heels though. not you toes........that adds like 10 inches at least
by AngeloBorreggine on 2/17/2011 2:03:00 AM

  • Im getting a little better with these......technique helps, ive been concentrating more on trying to pull my knees up as high as i can during the jump.
by AngeloBorreggine on 2/16/2011 5:42:00 PM

  • Thanks man. Did this after a small back workout. Kept slipping cause of the carpet :S Think I might have some more but a strong squat helps.
