  • profile pic Good times depend on many factors. Heavyweight guys can achieve some awesome times for sure. With teams like GB having a cut off for HWT at a slowest time of 6.10. Lightweight guys get it a little easier (of which I am one of those, and its not easy!), needing a time of 6.33. Girls HWT your looking at 7.05 and LWT 7.28. If your getting near these times then consider joining your local rowing club, and knock on the door of your international squad to see if they can help!

Challenge for: all
Ability level: suitable for all competitors
Age range: any age 		The classic fitness test is now on Konkura. Set the Concept II rowing machine to 2000m and complete the distance as quickly as you can. You can choose any fan setting you like from 1 - 10. This is an all-comers challenge. Whenever you break your personal best, up date your score. And if you're getting sub 6mins - you should be rowing in the Olympics! It's time to man up and hit the oars....

  • Well, the World Record for 2000m on the concept rowing machine was set in 2007 by Rob Waddell of New Zealand. He achieved a time of 5 minutes 36.6 seconds which is pretty awesome.
